Women Bear the Burden of the COVID-19 Crisis.

Women, especially Black and brown women, are on the front lines of the COVID-19 response, and yet we are being left behind and left out. During this crisis, we are more likely to lose our jobs, are often the caretakers at home, and in some cases, our rights and safety are under direct attack. The relief that has been proposed by Congress is a fraction of what’s needed.

We Demand More is a coalition of organizations using our collective power to fight for courageous women workers and caretakers, especially women of color, who are on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis and who are particularly vulnerable to its impact. Their lives, livelihoods, and families depend on lawmakers and business leaders doing more — and we need everyone to demand more.
